SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Lowe Automotive, a Parts Plus member based in St. Louis, is opening its newest warehouse location in Springfield, Mo.

“Springfield is one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the state, the third-largest behind St. Louis and Kansas City,” said Jeff Lowe, president of Lowe Automotive. “This makes Springfield a great market to enter as Lowe Automotive expands to open its sixth Parts Plus warehouse. Lowe Automotive Parts Plus will not only bring the recognized top brands to independent service dealers in Springfield but also several niche categories and private-label products as well as lines that may not be currently available or in limited supply.”

Located in a 20,000-square-foot facility at 1939 E. Florida St., Lowe Automotive Parts Plus recently began hiring local employees to complete its Springfield staff. The new warehouse location will begin taking orders in mid-March.

Lowe Automotive will also offer the Parts Plus Car Care Center program to select customers in the area, said Deno Valenti, general manager of Lowe’s aftermarket division.

“The Car Care Center program is a complete service-dealer marketing plan that helps drive traffic into our customers’ businesses,” Valenti said.
