MIAMI -- AMP Research, the Tustin, Calif.-based maker of intelligent truck products including the PowerStep, was chosen as the
National Performance Warehouse (NPW) 2010 Supplier of the Year in the Truck and Performance Category. The award was presented at NPW’s 2011 Fast Expo held Jan. 30 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The PowerStep is a versatile running board that vanishes when not needed and appears when access to your SUV or truck is desired. AMP has the most complete line including apps for the all new 2011 Chevy Diesel, according to NPW.
Matt Bacalis, VP of sales and marketing, presented the award to Pierre Pfeffer, who accepted on behalf of AMP.
NPW also distributes AMP Research’s BedStep and Bed X-Tender product categories.
Product lines like AMP Research are shown at the NPW trade shows across the country. The next NPW show event is the Northern California Auto Show, co-sponsored by NPW’s Speed Warehouse Division, and will be held on Sunday, April 3 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, Calif.
