MIAMI -- National Performance Warehouse (NPW) played host to qualified parts and accessory suppliers, buyers and enthusiasts for the second year in its new venue. The NPW “FAST Expo” as it is known, was held on Sunday, Jan. 30th at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

NPW has successfully produced trade shows for 42 years in the traditional fashion until 2010 when it moved to this new location and format. The event connects NPW and its customers to the manufacturers’ products and services.

“We exceeded last year’s numbers in supplier booths, orders written, jobber attendance and of course the temperature,” said Larry Pacey, president of NPW.

Last year, the event was well-attended despite one of Florida’s worst cold snaps in decades, while this year brought moderate, near perfect weather. The company expanded this year’s event with more manufacturers, enhanced deals, new products, technician education and celebrity appearances.

A welcome reception was held for suppliers, reps and special guests on Saturday evening following set-up.

Pacey said the company expects that future events "will be bigger and better with additional manufacturers and new attractions for those automotive enthusiasts and industry professionals who want to stay connected to the latest trends and innovations.”

The company will be hold its West Coast trade show on Sunday, April 3 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, Calif. Set-up day is Saturday, April 2.

NPW is headquartered in Miami, Fla., with additional locations in Tampa, Fla., and Oakland, San Jose and Los Angeles, Calif.
