Toyo Tire USA Corp. has hired Marty Furman as its first chief operating officer (COO).
Furman, most recently COO of Pentel of America, will oversee Toyo's technical services, sales, marketing and pricing. He will report directly to company president and CEO Yasushi Takagi.
Furman also has extensive management experience with Procter & Gamble, Avery Dennison and Trojan Battery Co.
A graduate of the Columbia University Senior Executive Program, Furman received his MBA in finance from Loyola University and dual BS degrees from the University of Maryland.
