BARBERTON, Ohio – Mark Pfleeger, vice president of sales at JohnDow Industries (JDI) recently announced the appointment of Teresa Scott to the position of national sales manager for JDI.

JDI is a manufacturer of automotive shop equipment and supplies. Brands include Fuel Chief portable fuel and handling, Crew Chief used oil and fluid handling, EuroVent vehicle exhaust extraction systems, JohnDow automotive service equipment and Dynamic automotive fasteners and supplies.

Scott comes to JDI from her most recent position as director of sales – Midwest/Northeast U.S. and Eastern Canada for RTI Technologies Inc. in York, Pa. She had been with RTI for seven years and was responsible for sales to tool and equipment distributors, national accounts and mobile jobbers. Prior to her time at RTI, she was with Delphi Integrated Service Solutions, and for more than 16 years she served in various positions with SPX-Robinair.

Pfleeger commented that “Teresa brings a wealth of talent and pertinent aftermarket experience to JohnDow that will help us in the further development of all of the JDI brands. She has a broad and appropriate background in sales, channels of distribution and customer services. We are very excited to have Teresa join the JDI team.”

Scott’s specific responsibilities at JohnDow will be to grow the presence of the Crew Chief, Fuel Chief and JohnDow Automotive Service Equipment brands in the various markets.

“Many of the sales representatives used by JDI have worked with Teresa in the past, so it should produce a quick start-up for everyone,” added Pfleeger.
