SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Mitchell International, a company that provides information, workflow and performance management solutions to the property & casualty claims and collision repair industries, has announced a cooperative agreement with the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers (AASP) that will provide AASP members with pricing incentives on Mitchell RepairCenter TechAdvisor modules.

AASP is a national association representing more than 8,500 automotive aftermarket businesses in 22 states.

According to Mitchell International, RepairCenter TechAdvisor offers comprehensive model-specific structural repair procedures, providing a single access point to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) repair reference data, as well as the industry standard Mitchell Collision Estimating Parts and Labor Database with complete coverage of mechanical parts numbers and pricing and labor times. AASP members can use RepairCenter TechAdvisor to locate the information they need to safely and properly restore today's complex vehicles to pre-accident condition. AASP members can receive exclusive pricing incentives on any Mitchell RepairCenter TechAdvisor package purchased.

"The Mitchell RepairCenter TechAdvisor program fills a void in the collision industry, providing timely, affordable, and easy to access critical vehicle repair information," said Rick Starbard, president of Alliance of Automotive Service Providers. "With each model year, vehicle manufacturers offer enhanced structural designs that pose unique repair challenges. Technicians must have the most up-to-date OEM repair procedures and specifications to get the job done right the first time. TechAdvisor provides that data, and I'm delighted that AASP can make this important service available to members through TechAdvisor."

"We are pleased to join forces with AASP to offer members an opportunity to help add efficiency and profitability to their shop operations by making it easier for them to access TechAdvisor in their shops. Mitchell shares AASP's values of upholding the highest standards of our industry and providing collision repairers with solutions that give them the vital information they need to help them repair vehicles safely, correctly and efficiently," said Jason Bertellotti, vice president of Mitchell Repair Solutions.
