SEATTLE -- MAM Software Inc. has announced that Romaine Electric, a Seattle-based supplier of rotating electrics, has chosen to install MAM's Autopart business management solution for its business operations. The software will be deployed throughout the company to manage a range of activities including importing, distributing, manufacturing and e-commerce.
Romaine Electric is a national supplier of alternators and starter units, with 11 locations across the U.S., serving a wide range of customers in the automotive, truck, industrial, marine, agricultural and military sectors.
Commenting on its decision to implement the MAM solution, Nick Staub, president of Romaine Electric, said, "Companies like Romaine are very unique and simply don't fit into an off-the-shelf system. We incorporate importing, warehouse distributing and manufacturing in our business model and MAM has worked closely with us to design and implement systems to handle each of our business units. The flexibility of the software can't be found elsewhere. Our online business continues to grow and with MAM, we know we're on the cutting-edge with tools that put us in front of our competition."
Brian Allibon, president of MAM Software Inc., said he was thrilled with Romaine's decision to choose Autopart.
"We have been talking to Nick and his team for some time now and are delighted with this news,” said Allibon. “Romaine is a forward-thinking company with a long and successful history. The ideas they are contributing in working toward a paperless RF-led distribution system -- amongst other initiatives -- fit perfectly with the projects we are conducting with our other partners. Romaine Electric adds yet another prestige name to the increasing family of MAM Software partners."
