Federated Auto Parts will once again sponsor the annual Cavalcade of Customs and Training Expo in Cincinnati, Ohio. The 2011 event is scheduled for Jan. 7-9 at the Duke Energy Convention Center.
“Each year, the Cavalcade of Customs draws thousands of fans to see custom cars, hot rods and motorcycles,” said Dave Wesselman, president of KOI Auto Parts. “For our professional mechanical, body shop and management customers, we will also provide some great training clinics and workshops taught by some of the leading professionals in the industry. It is always a great event and we look forward to a fun and informative weekend.”
The 2011 Cavalcade of Customs marks the 51st anniversary of the show. This year’s KOI training workshops will feature classes from such Federated and KOI manufacturing partners as Standard, ACDelco, Motorcraft, Denso and Bosch. For one low price, KOI’s customers will get a three-day admission pass to the show plus all classes and lunches.
“We provide training and professional development opportunities to help our customers navigate through the latest product information and repair procedures,” said Wesselman. “In 2010, we had approximately 550 techs, managers and shop owners take the classes and we are hoping for an even bigger turnout this year.”
Product display booths will be set up outside the training classes so KOI customers can learn more about supplier product lines. A Federated Car Care Center booth will be on-site for current and potential members to find out more about the benefits of being a Federated Car Care Center.
Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, KOI serves more than 10,000 customers including professional repair garages, collision centers, car dealerships and individual customers through more than 75 store locations. In business for more than 60 years, KOI has been a Federated Auto Parts member since 1987.
