BETHESDA, Md. – The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) announced that registration for the 2011 Virtual Aftermarket eForum is now open.

Now in its 10th year, the eForum is produced as a virtual Web conference with live content and networking. The 2011 event will be held Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011. The early-bird registration fee of $95 gives attendees unlimited access to view the keynote Webcasts; browse the virtual trade show; participate in chats and discussions; and download content from the extensive resource library for a full 90 days.

The Aftermarket eForum is produced by AAIA to enable decision-makers to learn about the technology solutions that can improve their business performance. As a virtual event, the eForum allows attendees to enjoy all the benefits without the time and expense of traveling to a face-to-face event.

The line-up for speakers and their topics for the Web conference includes:

Daryl Plummer, Chief Gartner Fellow, Gartner Research, “Top Technology Predictions for 2011 and Beyond”

Richard Sherman, Director of North America, Supply Chain Council, “Optimizing Supply Chain Performance in the Vehicle Aftermarket”

Colin Masson, World Wide Director, Operations Solution Category, Microsoft Corporation, “How Cloud Computing is Remaking Aftermarket Distribution”

Tom Marx, President & CEO, The Marx Group, “Content is King in a Web Marketing Strategy for Top Line Growth”

Rod Bayless, Product Director, Activant Solutions, “Data Warehousing – Turning Information Into Intelligence”

“The 2011 Virtual Aftermarket eForum is designed to offer insights into the major technology and e-business challenges facing our industry,” said Scott Luckett, vice president, technology standards, AAIA. “Cloud Computing, Web Marketing, Data Warehousing and Supply Chain Optimization are topics that impact and potentially benefit every business and technology executive in the aftermarket.”
