COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Hytec DeBartolo LLC has named Gilberto Lopez president of its international aftermarket business operations. In this new role, Lopez will be working directly, and in conjunction with, Hytec Automotive President Bob Van Gorkom.

Commenting on the appointment Van Gorkom stated, “We are very pleased to welcome Gilberto Lopez as a part of our Hytec Automotive team. Through the years, Gilberto has realized measured success with selling a variety of automotive products into the global aftermarket businesses. We look forward to his guidance and valuable international marketing experience as we continue to penetrate this burgeoning global marketplace.”

Van Gorkom added that as president of Hytec’s international aftermarket business operations, Lopez’ main responsibility will be to continue the significant sales increases that Hytec has experienced during a very successful 2010 fiscal year.
