LONG BEACH, Calif. – National Pronto Association recently awarded DENSO Sales California (DSCA) the 2010 Original Equipment (OE) Supplier of the Year award. The award was presented during Pronto’s fall membership meeting on Sept. 15 in Indianapolis, Ind. Pronto previously named DENSO as its OE Supplier of the Year in 2006, 2008 and 2009.

“2010 has been a tough year for everyone, that makes receiving this award from the National Pronto Association an especially significant honor for us,” said Frank Cisek, senior manager, Aftermarket Sales, DENSO Sales California. “We have received the Supplier of the Year award four of the last five years. At DENSO, our goal is to become trusted partners with our customers, we feel these awards reflect that.”

DENSO supplies Pronto with oxygen sensors, spark plugs, starter/alternators, spark plug wires, fuel pumps, A/C compressors, wiper blades, receiver dryers and oil and air filters.

For the awards, Pronto members were asked to rate each supplier on the following criteria: product quality, profitability, delivery performance, service, support and marketing programs.
