Larry Denton Named President of Nobel Automotive Group

BURSA, Turkey -- Orhan Holding A.S. has appointed Lawrence "Larry" Denton as president of its wholly owned subsidiary, Nobel Automotive Group.

Nobel Automotive, based in Poissy, France, specializes in the design and production of fluid transfer products. The company has partnered with major automakers for more than 30 years and has expertise in combining plastic, metal and rubber technologies to create high value solutions. Nobel has eight global manufacturing facilities located in France, Korea, Mexico, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey and the U.S. Engineering of its products is provided in regional technical centers in France, Turkey, the U.K. and the U.S., and the company's North American commercial and administrative team is based in Auburn Hills, Mich.

In his role as president, Denton will direct all strategic and growth initiatives for the global organization. His career spans more than 30 years in the automotive industry with executive leadership roles at OEM and supplier companies.

Orhan Holding Chairman and CEO Murat Orhan said the addition of Denton to the organization will bolster the company's focus on innovation, growth and lean manufacturing efforts.

Prior to joining Nobel, Denton founded Denton Consulting, a firm providing operational and strategic advisory services to private equity funds and transportation industry businesses. Before that, he served as chairman, CEO and president of DURA Automotive Systems from 2003-2008. Before joining DURA, he was president of Dow Automotive. Prior to joining Dow in 1996, Denton spent 24 years with Ford, where he held a variety of senior management positions.

A Sloan Fellow, Denton holds a master's degree in science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), an MBA from the University of Michigan and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University.
