PARIS -- At the Paris Motor Show coming up next month, Valeo will present its latest innovations on an electric show car.

Specially created for the event, the electric show car features all of the recent technological innovations specifically developed by Valeo and its partners for electric vehicles. From driveline components to thermal management systems or detection systems, each has been designed with the aim of extending the range of an electric vehicle without undermining its comfort.

The goal, according to Valeo, is to offer automakers realistic, high-performance solutions for mass production at an affordable cost.

Valeo says it is focused on the reduction of CO2 emissions and is already developing a wide range of products for internal combustion engine vehicles and hybrids. These technologies, which Valeo says offer significant fuel savings, are presented in three different ways: reducing carbon dioxide emissions, weight reduction and energy efficiency and smart driving.
