The MEMA Government Affairs Committee (GAC) will hold a special meeting session on energy policy development from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 8, at the offices of Arent Fox LLP in Washington, D.C.

The meeting agenda features:

• A panel representing AASA, HDMA and OESA to provide initial reaction to draft policy principles

• An address by Gina McCarthy, assistant administrator for EPA's Office of Air and Radiation

• A review of all of the latest legislative developments

• A strategy discussion for moving AASA and MEMA priorities forward for the remainder of the year
