Chrysler, Toyota, General Motors, Aluminum Association Presenting at Third Advanced Lightweight Materials for Vehicles Conference in Detroit

DETROIT — The Obama administration set the first ever greenhouse gas emission limits for U.S. cars. To meet them, gas mileage standards must increase 40 percent to 35.5 mpg. The Third Advanced Lightweight Materials for Vehicles event taking place Aug. 11-12 at the Cobo Convention Center in Detroit will discuss new CAFE standards to improve fuel economy and emissions. This event will help automotive and vehicle manufacturers step up to the challenges ahead and apply low cost lightweight materials and technologies.

Conference attendees will learn:
