DIAMOND BAR, Calif. — To help SEMA Showgoers get the best hotel prices while at the 2010 SEMA Show, dozens of hotels in Las Vegas are offering considerable discounts, with rates as low as $39 per night and more than a dozen properties waiving the newly instituted “resort fees” currently implemented throughout the city.

“We constantly partner with our providers to give SEMA Showgoers lower costs and increase value,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA VP of events and communications. “This includes working with hotels in Las Vegas to offer the lowest rates possible. We’re pleased that many of the hotels are responsive and committed to servicing SEMA Showgoers.”

The discounts are only available when reserving through the SEMA Hotel Booking Service.

Properties that have agreed to waive the resort fee for attendees of the SEMA Show and AAPEX who book in the block include:

The one hotel with a resort fee in SEMA’s official block is the Signature at MGM Grand. The fee is reduced for Show attendees from $20 to $10, however, if booked before Aug. 27. The Mandalay Bay Resort has offered an option to add its $20 Resort Fee at check-in rather than making it a requirement if you stay at the hotel.
