The Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) is accepting nominations for the organization's 2010 AWDA Industry Awards.

AWDA believes that outstanding aftermarket business people and companies should be recognized for their commitment to the association and the industry in general. AWDA will again recognize deserving companies and individuals with the following:

• Art Fisher Memorial Scholarship Award
• Pursuit of Excellence Award
• Martin Fromm Lifetime Achievement Award
• Automotive Leader of the Year Award

Download a nomination form here.

AWDA members are asked to review the criteria, then reflect upon those individuals and/or companies that they believe are worthy of additional recognition.

According to the criteria, some must be AWDA members, others not. The unifying characteristics will be commitment to the industry and contributions that are substantially above and beyond the norm.

Print out the nomination forms to submit nominees to Larry Northup or Rosemary Perry at larry.northup@aftermarket.org or rosemary.perry@aftermarket.org, or fax to the AAIA/AWDA offices at (301) 654-3299. Those sending in nominations need not nominate someone for each award.

All AWDA members are invited to attend AWDA’s Opening General Session and Manufacturers’ Reception beginning at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31 in Las Vegas. There is no cost to attend the Opening General Session and Manufacturers’ Reception for AWDA members.
