New buyers of Lincoln cars and trucks will receive up to three years of free service if they buy a vehicle by Sept. 7, according to the Detroit Free Press newspaper.
The offer comes two weeks after Ford revealed plans to eliminate its Mercury brand and raise the profile of its luxury Lincoln brand, the newspaper reported. Ford said the program is the first step in upgrading Lincoln's customer service.
The program includes oil changes, tire rotations, vehicle inspections, engine belts and hoses for three years or 45,000 miles.
