RACINE, Wis. -- Modine Manufacturing Co. has promoted Scott Wollenberg to the newly created position of vice president, global engineering, effective immediately. In this new, officer-level position, Wollenberg retains his responsibility for the company’s global product engineering and research for its vehicular thermal management and other original equipment offerings, as well as for its global research and product planning processes. In addition, he will continue to support the research activities associated with Modine’s commercial HVAC business segment. He will report to Modine President and CEO Thomas Burke.

Under Scott’s leadership, our engineering team continues to focus on meeting the world’s growing demand for innovative thermal management solutions within the vehicular market, as well as in promising new areas of research within commercial HVAC and other emerging technology.”
Wollenberg, 41, is an 18-year Modine veteran. After joining Modine as an applications engineer in 1992, he progressed through a series of increasingly responsible engineering and product management positions, including regional product manager and managing director for the company’s Engine Products Group, while based in Bonlanden, Germany. He was named global engineering director, engine and powertrain cooling products, in 2009.
Wollenberg began his career in 1987 in the co-operative program at Harrison Radiator, a division of General Motors. He received his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering at the GMI Engineering & Management Institute and his executive MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
