According to data collected by Babcox Research for the 2009 Counterman Reader Profile, the majority of jobber sales – 72 percent – are to shops, with just 28 percent of jobber sales going to DIYers. Meanwhile, retailers show a more even mix – with 46 percent of sales going to shops and 54 percent to the DIY market.
