CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Transtar Industries has expanded its operations in Edison, N.J.

On May 1, Transtar’s Edison branch moved into a larger, more state-of-the-art facility, to better serve its customersTranstar’s 2010 and long-term growth plans include increasing product solutions and
extending its physical reach.

“We had simply outgrown our old facility, and wanted to be certain that we had the resources in place to continue to provide our customers with world-class customer service,” said Tom DeMille, vice president of sales and branch operations. “The new facility in New Jersey supports the increasing product and service needs of our customers.”

“This is just one of several expansions planned for 2010,” added Neil Sethi, president, Domestic
Distribution Group. “Our business and customer needs are changing, and we want to be certain to stay ahead of the curve as we continue to present solutions for our customers.”
