CAXIAS DO SUL, Brazil -- Fras-le S.A. has announced its results for the first quarter of 2010.
With record sales volume and revenue, Fras-le's operating performance surged in the first quarter of 2010. Gross revenue before consolidation was up $88.2 million, or 24 percent, from the first quarter of 2009.
Fras-le Brazil Exports (FOB) was up $22.4 million, or 40.9 percent, from the first quarter of 2009.
Consolidated net revenue was up $65.4 million or 31.5 percent from first quarter of 2009.
Consolidated gross income was up $22 million or 83.8 percent the first quarter of 2009. Consolidated net income was $7.2 million or eight times higher than in the first quarter of 2009.
