ELGIN, Ill. -- The Heavy Duty Representatives Association (HDRA) has elected a new board of directors for 2010. The election took place during the Annual HDRA Member Meeting, held in conjunction with the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky.
Veteran manufacturer's representative Lawrence Rosenthal of Rosenthal Fleet Parts Sales Inc. is the newly elected president of HDRA. He has represented a cross section of heavy duty manufacturers, from those in the Fortune 500 to family owned manufacturers. Rosenthal is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, has received numerous sales awards and has participated in a number of manufacturers liaison advisory councils.
Walt Sirman of T&S Sales & Marketing Co. Inc. has been elected vice president. T&S Sales & Marketing Co. Inc. is headquartered in Mustang, Okla. Sirman is an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience.
John Stojak, president of Sherman-Pearson Co. (SPC) in Cleveland, Ohio, is the newly elected secretary of HDRA. Stojak is an industry veteran of 35 years, and has served with Sherman-Pearson Co. since 1981. SPC was started in 1977 and has been a member of HDRA since 1992. Stojak is a past-president of HDRA and committed to independent manufacturer’s representatives as a cost-efficient alternative to a direct sales force.
