Hankook Tire Offers 'Great Catch' for Tire Buyers This Spring

WAYNE, N.J. -- Hankook Tire America Corp. is offering consumers up to $50 in cash back rebates on three of its top performance products and a chance to win a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro this spring.

The “Great Catch” Mail-in Rebate program is available to consumers who purchase four select tires of any size between April 1 and May 31 from an authorized Hankook retailer. The tires included in the rebate program are the Ventus V12 evo, the Ventus V4 ES and the Optimo H727.

Along with the rebate offer, Hankook also is offering consumers an opportunity to enter a random drawing and a chance to win a new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, no purchase necessary, as part of the “Great Catch” Car Giveaway. On or about July 10, one lucky grand prize winner will be selected. Information about both the “Great Catch” rebate and car giveaway will be posted online on the Hankook Tire America Web site at www.hankooktireusa.com/greatcatch on March 29, prior to the start of the promotion.
 
“Our economy is slowly rebounding, but many consumers have delayed vehicle maintenance, including the purchase of replacement tires,” said Bill Bainbridge, director of brand communications, Hankook Tire America Corp. “Driving on worn tires is a safety concern as much as it is a performance issue, and we’re hoping this promotion will catch people’s attention and give them the extra incentive to purchase Hankook tires.”

To support the rebate and car giveaway, Hankook has developed a point-of-sale merchandising package for its dealers and will be featuring the “Great Catch” promotion in a new print ad in a wide variety of consumer magazines, online, and tagging on its national and regional TV ads throughout the consumer purchase period.
