GERMANTOWN, TENN. – The Parts House, a Parts Plus member of the Automotive Distribution Network, has purchased the assets of Parts Pros Automotive Warehouse in Bradenton, Fla., according to Mike Lambert, President of the Network.

“Our group has seen a lot of expansion into additional markets over the past couple of years,” said Lambert. “Because of the population density in many areas of Florida, The Parts House is expanding its geographic coverage. I don’t think there is any place in Florida that they cannot get to.”

With the acquisition, The Parts House plans to keep its existing location and management staff.

Parts Pro Automotive Warehouse has been in operation since 1972 and will now fly the Parts Plus flag, according to David Honig, CEO of The Parts House. Honig is also current chairman of the Automotive Distribution Network.

“This expansion will enable The Parts House to increase our presence in the Bradenton market, as we were attempting to service it with our Sarasota location,” Honig said. “We are in the process of updating the location’s inventory, which will increase parts availability in the market and give the Parts Pros customers access to product they didn’t have before. In addition, delivery times will be much faster.”
