KARIYA, Japan ― DENSO Corp. has revised its year-end dividend forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, from what was originally announced on Oct. 30, 2009.
DENSO previously reported its full-year forecast as "undecided" but has since revised its forecast to 14 yen (approximately 15 cents) per share for the year-end and 27 yen (about 29 cents) per share for the full year. Previously, full-year results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2009, were 13 yen (14 cents) per share for the year-end and 40 yen (about 43 cents) per share for the full year.
DENSO’s basic dividend policy is to maintain a stable dividend payment, taking consideration of various aspects such as financial performance and dividend ratio. Due to the unclear outlook of the business environment at the time, the company announced year-end dividend forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, as “undecided” on Oct. 30, 2009. After comprehensive consideration of current conditions, the company has decided to revise year-end dividend forecast as above.
