TOTOWA, N.J. -- Deeza Chassis Parts has broken ground on a new 280,000-square-foot production plant in Turkey. At an estimated cost of $6 million, the new facility is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2012 and will nearly double the company's production capacity.

The company also plans to invest in new tooling for the facility, said Gokhan Kuru, president, Deeza Chassis Parts.

“After a long and difficult world economic and business climate, we see an improvement in the market along with a major increase in demand for our premium quality chassis parts in both Europe and USA," said Kuru. "As a result, our current production plant is very close to being fully utilized. Until the new plant goes into production, we will use expanded labor and work hours to compensate for this. With its enhanced capabilities, our new facility will position us for future market and competitive challenges."

Kuru says Deeza Chassis Parts in the U.S., and its parent company Disa Automotive Ltd. in Turkey, will continue to make future investments, as they have during the past 20 years, to facilitate the production of quality chassis parts. The company currently produces 4 million parts per year. Once the new facility is operational, the company expects capacity to initially increase to 6 million parts per year.
