CAXIAS DO SUL, Brazil – Global friction materials manufacturer Fras-le SA has reported its 2009 fourth quarter results and results for the year ended Dec. 31, 2009.

For the fourth quarter of 2009, total gross revenue, before consolidation was R$162.5 million (approximately $91 million USD), up 25.3 percent from the fourth quarter of 2008. Consolidated net revenue was R$117.1 million (approximately $66 million USD), up 22.4 percent from the fourth quarter of 2008.

For the full year 2009, gross revenues before consolidation were R$595.3 million (approximately $333 million USD), up 0.5 percent up from 2008. Consolidated net income was R$428.1 million ($240 million USD) or 1 percent less than 2008.
