BETHESDA, Md. – Content, presentations and the virtual trade show from the inaugural Virtual Aftermarket eForum, the educational symposium focused exclusively on e-commerce and business technology in the aftermarket held Sept. 30, 2009, are still available to registered attendees on-demand until March 30.

"This was a shared online experience in the aftermarket, and if you want to re-visit any of the top-level eForum elements, you can continue to experience the Virtual eForum from the comfort of your office," said Scott Luckett, chairman, eForum Planning Committee and AAIA vice president, technology standards. "Even if you missed it, you can still take part in this valuable educational event, on your own time, at your own pace."

Keynote presentations that were broadcast were Multi-Enterprise Data Management in the Auto Aftermarket by Jay Yanko, Edgenet; Demystifying Social Media – from a Strategic Marketing Perspective by Jonathan Ressler; Brand Noise Reduction Laboratory Inc.; Internet Data Exchange: Pointing EDI in the Right Direction by Stephen Smith, GCommerce; and Collaborating to Optimize Your Inventory Results by Max Buchanan, Datalliance. The presentations were followed by live Q&A with the presenters and later by online scheduled chats.

Gold event sponsors Activant Solutions and Autologue Computer Systems were joined by seven other corporate exhibitors in the industry's first virtual trade show. Attendees browsed the exhibits, chatted with booth reps and downloaded presentations and brochures into their virtual event bags between presentations in the auditorium.

The Virtual Aftermarket eForum continues until March 30 in an on-demand format. Returning attendees, and those who missed the "live day," can still register for $95 and access the conference from www.aftermarketeforum.com.
