CYPRESS, Calif. -- NHTSA has announced that Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas is recalling certain Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrain, Toyo Open Country A/T and Toyo Proxes ST II tires.

All of the recalled tires are in size 305/50R20. The exact number of tires being recalled was not announced.

According to NHTSA, the tires in question were produced with a wrinkle in the upper sidewall area of the tires, which may lead to cracking.

Toyo said it would notify owners and replace the affected tires for free. (Tire Review)
