CARDONE Industries Celebrates 40 Years of Growth
February 8, 2010By aftermarketNews staff

In early 1970, CARDONE's original "Factory Family" began with only six employees remanufacturing a single product line -- wiper motors. Forty years later, they have grown to more than 5,000 employees, offering 70-plus product lines and more than 40,000 SKUs of new and remanufactured hard parts.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- CARDONE Industries is celebrating its 40th anniversary of remanufacturing reliable and affordable automotive parts. Michael Cardone Sr. and son, Michael Cardone Jr., launched their business in a small storefront row home in North Philadelphia. In early 1970, CARDONE’s original “Factory Family” began with only six employees remanufacturing a single product line – wiper motors. Forty years later, they have grown to more than 5,000 employees, offering 70-plus product lines and more than 40,000 SKUs of new and remanufactured hard parts.

Through the years, CARDONE’s dynamic growth has spread worldwide. Today, they operate several production and warehouse facilities in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Belgium and United Kingdom. Unlike many global companies, CARDONE remains a family owned business lead now by its second and third generation. CARDONE has grown due to its reliable products, wide availability, excellent service and outstanding customers. CARDONE believes the quality of its products is the most important issue to its customers, and therefore quality is the foundation of its corporate culture.
