University of the Aftermarket to Present Annual Executive Education Awards for Distributors, Manufacturers
February 8, 2010By aftermarketNews staff

New program to highlight organizations with proven commitment to providing employee access to accredited, aftermarket-specific business education.
MIDLAND, Mich. – The University of the Aftermarket (U of A) is launching a new industry awards program to recognize aftermarket distribution and manufacturing organizations that demonstrate a commitment to employee development through access to accredited, university-level business education.

The University of the Aftermarket Executive Education Awards will be presented each year during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week to distribution and manufacturing firms that best exemplify a commitment to industry leadership through participation in the U of A’s university-level business education programs. The first two Executive Education Awards will be presented this year in Las Vegas.

“Regardless of industry, organizations that embrace the value of employee education are often those that are the most innovative, most competitive and most profitable,” said University of the Aftermarket Director Brian Cruickshank, AAP. “This new award will help showcase aftermarket companies that are truly committed to continuous improvement through continuous learning, and which best leverage the many resources now available through the University of the Aftermarket.”

Nominations for the new award will be accepted beginning in June via an electronic form available at www.universityoftheaftermarket.com.
