STAMFORD, Conn. -- Green Earth Technologies (GET) has announced a West Coast test for "G"-Branded automotive appearance products at Pep Boys. The initial test will run in approximately 100 Pep Boys stores, mostly in Arizona and California to gage future orders.

Green Earth Technologies has been on a successful growth streak since exhibiting at AAPEX this past fall. Today's announcement comes on the heels of three recent distribution deals for the earth-friendly product maker -- a bulk distribution deal with Green Planet products; a partnership with national full-service auto repair and maintenance franchise chain Honest-1 Auto Care to sell GET products at its locations; and a General Service Administration (GSA) Award contract for Green Earth Technologies to be offered to more than 1,000 government and military fleet operations and organizations.

The Pep Boys' locations involved in the test will now carry a variety of Green Earth Technologies' car cleaning products including G-WASH Heavy Duty Hydrophobic Car Wash, G-WHEEL Wheel Cleaner, G-TIRE Ultimate Tire Shine, G-GLASS Organic Glass Cleaner and G-GLASS Rain Repellent.

Made with American-grown plant oils, the "G"-Branded automotive appearance products penetrate dirt, breaking it into billions of little particles that constantly repel each other until eaten by the micro-organisms and bacteria living in the ground. G-WASH Heavy Duty Car Wash and G-CLEAN Organic Glass Cleaners are among GET's best selling appearance products to date.

"Pep Boys is a progressive automotive retail chain, now offering 'green' alternatives to their conscientious consumers," said Jeffrey Loch, Green Earth Technologies' Founder and CMO. "We are confident that the Pep Boys test will spur future distribution in the automotive appearance category as well as across the Green Earth Technologies product lines."
