LAS VEGAS -- EngineQuest (EQ), a supplier of stock and performance cylinder heads and engine components, has renewed its title sponsorship of the IMCA Wild West Modified Tour for 2010. In addition, EQ continues as a general sponsor of IMCA racing. EQ is the exclusive supplier of the Spec Chevy 350 cylinder head in the IMCA Northern and Southern Sport Mod Divisions as well as the Hobby Stock Division.

The 2010 EQ Cylinder Heads Wild West Modified Tour starts at Aztec, N.M. Speedway with the first Friday-Saturday doubleheader on April 23-24. The 2010 season will feature 12 series dates at six tracks. Justin Yeager of Green River, Wyo., who uses EQ cylinder heads in competition, returns as the defending tour champion. The top 20 points leaders for the EQ Cylinder Heads Wild West Modified Tour will be invited to compete in a special Shootout during the Duel in the Desert at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in November.

“We are pleased to once again be the title sponsor for the Wild West Modified Tour," said Mark Moore, EQ's director of sales. "We believe IMCA is the premier organization for grassroots racing in the U.S. We are excited to renew our sponsorship because we believe it’s an excellent way to demonstrate how our stock and performance heads can compete on the track."

IMCA vice president of operations, Brett Root, said, "We are excited that EQ has extended its sponsorship of the series to a fourth season. Their support is a primary reason why this tour is so successful.”
