KNOXVILLE, Tenn. General Pneumatics Australia has announced its entry into the North American heavy-duty truck aftermarket. The company's unique products are designed to eliminate moisture and contamination from air brake systems operating on severe service applications that have compressor duty cycles approaching 100 percent, such as refuse, municipal transit, off highway, construction, military and others.
The patented EXT-50 DumpMaster drain valve electronically exhausts moisture and contamination every six minutes. The DumpMaster valve is designed with a large exhaust port to eject larger volumes of contamination, while resisting clogging. The DumpMaster drain valve is the perfectly suited for use on vehicles equipped with air driers. When mounted to the wet tank, it electronically and reliably exhausts water and contamination that can bypass the dessicant filter. The DumpMaster valve can be manually disassembled while still installed for easy maintenance. DumpMaster valves have a proven track record of reliable operation in extreme weather environments; from tropical to freezing temperatures.
General Pneumatics manufactures air brake filtration products for the transportation industry. Its products have been offered as original equipment options by a wide range of Australian truck manufacturers including Iveco, GM Isuzu, Volvo, Mack and Kenworth.
