BROADVIEW, Ill. -- Purolator Filters NA LLC was presented with the Gold Quality Award at the Toyota Parts & Accessories Supplier Conference recently held in Torrance, Calif. Given by the Toyota Supplier Committee, the award recognizes outstanding performance by a supplier in the areas of product quality, operational quality and product support.

"This prestigious award is proof of the dedication and commitment of all Purolator employees to exceed our customers' expectations," said Rob Malone, president & CEO of Purolator Filters NA LLC, now owned by Bosch under a joint venture agreement with MANN+HUMMEL.

The award was received by Hanno Hoehn, vice president, Filtration, for MANN+HUMMEL USA Inc. Hoehn is responsible for all Purolator OE/OES sales activities. Presenting the Award were Jane Beseda, group vice president and general manager of Toyota Motor Customer Services Division and Dave Camden, vice president Dealer Operations for Toyota.

"We are proud to have received this recognition from Toyota, a company itself widely known for its high standards in vehicle manufacturing," said Hoehn "It is an endorsement of the quality and the many years of technical knowledge that lie behind the development of our filtration products," he said.

Among the 15 suppliers that received awards, Purolator/MANN+HUMMEL was the only supplier to receive the Gold Award for product and operational quality and product support at the conference.
