Exide's Steve Phillips Appointed to CAWA Manufacturers Advisory Council

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. -- Steve Phillips has been appointed to the California/Nevada/Arizona Automotive Wholesalers Association’s (CAWA) Manufacturers Advisory Council (MAC), representing EXIDE Batteries. His office is in Omaha, Neb.

Phillips was appointed by CAWA Chair of the Board David Finley of Finley Industries. “Mr. Phillips represents a segment of the industry that CAWA had interest in pursuing for its Manufacturers Advisory Council and Mr. Phillips is the right person for a leadership position within CAWA,” Finley said following the appointment. He added that Phillips brings extensive industry experience to CAWA and will be a welcomed addition to serve the association in 2010.
                                                          
CAWA is an automotive aftermarket trade association, which represents auto parts jobbers, warehouse distributors, retailers, manufacturers and manufacturer representatives in California, Nevada and Arizona. The association provides education, legislative, regulatory and business support to the industry and its membership. It is one of the largest trade associations of its kind in the United States and recognized as a leader in the automotive aftermarket industry.
