SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- Steven Landry, former executive vice president, North American Sales & Marketing and Global Service & Parts for Chrysler Corp., will join R. L. Polk and Co.'s OEM Advisory Board.

Polk's OEM Advisory Board consists of individuals who have a wealth of experience in both the business world and the automotive industry, and are charged with advising Polk's leadership team on various areas of its global OEM business. Landry brings more than 27 years of automotive OEM leadership experience, including field sales and dealer operations, vehicle distribution, rental and fleet operations, international business, marketing and parts and service operations. Landry's previous positions include president and CEO of Chrysler Canada and Chrysler Europe.

He will join Pete Gerosa, former vice president of Field Sales, Service and Parts for General Motors North America; Paul Baffico, former president of Sears Automotive Group and former chairman and CEO of Western Auto; and Ray Rota, former general sales and marketing manager for GMC Truck division, on Polk's Advisory Board.

"I am very pleased that Steven has agreed to join our Advisory Board and I look forward to gaining his perspective on our global product offerings and customer relationships," said Mike Gingell, vice president of Polk's midwest and central regions. "The knowledge and experience of our board members continues to be a vital resource as we focus on building stronger relationships with our customers and aligning our products to the customers' needs and applications."
