First-Ever Car Care Fair Showcases 'Be Car Care Aware' at AAPEX
November 17, 2009By aftermarketNews staff

The Car Care Fair exhibit occupied a 22 x 30-foot space located on the upper floor of the Sands Expo Center.
The Car Care Council took its “Be Car Care Aware” consumer education campaign directly to the place where all the key aftermarket industry decision-makers would be – AAPEX. The first-ever Car Care Fair exhibit on display at this year's AAPEX showcased the U.S. and Canadian “Be Car Care Aware” campaigns and also provided booth space within the exhibit for groups who are involved in educating consumers about vehicle maintenance on behalf of the industry through their own programs.

The Car Care Fair occupied a 22 x 30-foot space located on the upper floor of the Sands Expo Center. Staff was on-hand to explain the benefits for companies doing business throughout the distribution channel to be involved in the consumer education campaign. Visitors were given one-on-one demonstrations of how to plan and host Community Car Care Events and free consumer vehicle check-ups during National Car Care Month and throughout the year.

A new video about hosting car care events also debuted at the exhibit and samples of all campaign promotional and marketing materials were available.

Among the groups that participated in the exhibit were NASCAR Angels, RepairPal.com, the Alliance to Save Energy and AutoNet TV.
