SWANSEA, Mass. — John Passante, a seasoned automotive aftermarket executive, trainer and inspirational speaker, has joined Brenton Productions Inc. as executive vice president. He will continue in his role as president of The Organizational Development Group Inc., as he assists Brenton Productions in its production of automotive series for national TV networks such as Fox’s Speed channel.

“I’ve had the pleasure of being in the aftermarket for 38 years with leading manufacturing and distribution companies,” Passante stated. “I’m excited to help Frank McGonagle and his team expand the TV production company he founded 16 years ago. For years I’ve watched TV shows produced by Brenton, including: Shadetree Mechanic, Crank & Chrome, Hi-Rev Tuners, Two Guys Garage and TruckU. Now I get to help create the shows and assist clients who want to participate in them with advertising and product placements.”

Passante successfully held the office of senior vice president for CARQUEST, senior vice president of human resources for Moog Automotive and senior director world wide human resources for Delphi Products and Service Solutions. He is a motivational speaker, trainer and an adjunct professor at Northwood University. He is also listed in the who’s who in training and development. As president of The Organizational Development Group, Passante assists aftermarket companies in recruiting, coaching, change management and culture enhancement.

Brenton Productions currently produces two television series in High-Definition television (HDTV) on Speed: TruckU and Two Guys Garage. Speed has renewed both series for the 2010 season due to their growing audience popularity by “motorhead” do-it-yourselfers and trade technicians. Each episode reaches a viewing audience of more than 1.2 million. Both shows have companion Web sites where viewers get expanded details about products shown on TV and click through to sponsors’ Web sites.

Brenton headquarters are in Swansea, Mass., with television production facilities in Tampa, Fla. In addition to producing national television series, Brenton also specializes in creating and producing TV commercials, training and corporate videos and video for the Internet.
