SCHAUMBURG, Ill., and SPRINGFIELD, Mo. Experian Automotive and O’Reilly Automotive have announced a new relationship in which O’Reilly will use Experian’s AutoCount Vehicles in Operation offering to help its business make stronger inventory decisions for each of its more than 3,400 U.S. locations.
Experian’s AutoCount Vehicles in Operation will provide O’Reilly with a clear and timely picture of the vehicles currently on the road in its markets, according to the company. By utilizing the insight AutoCount Vehicles in Operation offers on more than 240 million vehicles in the United States, O’Reilly will be able to better anticipate the needs of its customers in each market and inventory products accordingly.

The data is updated within six weeks of the end of each quarter, ensuring that aftermarket organizations have the most timely and comprehensive information available to help better manage inventory levels, efficiently plan for new vehicle introductions, adjust for technology changes and better assess locations for retail stores and service bays.
