LANSDALE, Pa. -- Technicians who need to take the Section 609 certification test to be in compliance with the U.S. Clean Air Act requirements for mobile air conditioning refrigerant recovery and recycling can participate in a Section 609 test prep class via the Internet. The Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide has scheduled a Section 609 test prep Webinar for 1:30 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, Nov. 12.

Technicians who wish to participate can register on the MACS Web site at www.macsw.org and log-in to the "My Profile" page. Register by phone by calling the MACS office at 215-631-7020 x 306, or e-mail Pam Smith, MACS Events Manager at pam@macsw.org. Cost is $40 for the class; Section 609 test and credentials, cost for the class only is $25.
