OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- Jay Sanchez, president of Remy Power Products, has announced the appointment of Jack Vollbrecht Jr. to the newly created position of senior vice president of business development. In this new position, Vollbrecht also will serve as chairman of the newly created Remy Customer Council.

“To sustain a customer driven organization, it is imperative that we foster strong strategic relationships and that we have a clear vision of future market needs and opportunities. This requires ongoing, productive interactions with senior leaders in channel partners’ organizations; active listening to customer needs, and a proactive leadership role in key trade organizations. Jack is just the man for such a job,” said Sanchez.

Vollbrecht has been with Remy since March 2005 when Remy acquired Unit Parts Co., where Vollbrecht was president. Most recently, he served as Remy's senior vice president of sales and marketing.
