ROME, Ga. -- Mauro Pessi will assume the post of CEO for Pirelli Tire North America, effective Oct. 1.
Pessi has had a long association with Pirelli, most recently having served as vice president of sales and marketing and then CEO, of Latin American operations. He rejoins The Pirelli Group after his departure in 2008 to become CEO at Brembo.
Pessi will replace Hugh Pace, who is retiring after having been chairman and CEO of the company for nearly three years. Pace will continue his role as chairman through the year’s end.
