DANBURY, Conn. The FRAM brand has developed a system for reporting fleet and installer rebates in the automotive aftermarket that the company says eliminates paperwork and reduces processing time. The new electronic rebate reporting system streamlines the process for both Warehouse Distributors (WDs) and Honeywell; increasing accuracy of reporting; and reducing the cycle time for credit issuances.
Datalliance, a leading provider of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) services, worked in concert with the FRAM team to develop and engineer the program.
“Our new reporting program helps enhance the overall WD program we offer our FRAM customers. Plus, we are finding that customers are actually getting larger rebates, $200 more per credit in some instances, due to the fact that they weren’t capturing all of their rebates when doing it manually,” said Kenny Cameron, channel marketing manager, FRAM Filtration.
In addition to these added benefits, FRAM product distributors are able to receive their credits, which are based off of jobber pricing, as much as 60 days quicker.
The electronic rebate reporting system, which was instituted by the FRAM team at the beginning of the year, only requires some initial input from WD customers and greatly simplifies the process once complete.
For more information, WDs should contact their FRAM sales representative.
