PENDLETON, Ind. -- Remy Inc., manufacturer of Delco Remy heavy duty starters and alternators, has received the Masters of Quality Award from Daimler Trucks North America. The Masters of Quality award is the highest-level recognition that Daimler Trucks North America provides to its elite suppliers. Remy is a four-time recipient of this award.
 
"Everyone's efforts within your company toward meeting our rigid requirements and expectations are greatly appreciated by everyone at Daimler Trucks North America," stated Paul Romanggi, general manager, quality and supplier management at Daimler Trucks North America, in presenting the award to Remy.
 
For more than 20 years, Daimler Trucks North America has acknowledged its North American manufacturers that meet or exceed the company's solid quality standards and exhibit a commitment to continuous improvement in the quality of products and processes.

The Remy manufacturing facility, Remy Mexico, SRL De C.V., located in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, supplies Delco Remy heavy duty alternators and starters to Daimler Trucks North America. It also provides the Freightliner and Thomas Built dealership network with new and reman alternators, starters and service parts.
