TOLEDO, Ohio -- David Trucano, a managing director of Centerbridge Partners L.P., has been appointed to the Dana Holding Corp. Board of Directors, executive chairman John Devine announced. Trucano's appointment follows the resignation of former Dana board member Stephen Girsky, who was recently appointed as a member of the board of directors of General Motors Co.
"I want to thank Steve, who served as our lead director since emergence, for his significant contributions to the Dana Board during a most challenging period. We wish him the best with GM," Devine said. "At the same time, we are very pleased to add the deep financial expertise and perspective that Dave brings to our Board of Directors."
Trucano, 38, joined Centerbridge Partners, a multi-strategy investment firm, in 2007. Immediately prior to joining Centerbridge, he was a vice president at Goldman Sachs, where he worked in the Special Situations Group within the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities division in both London and New York. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2004, he worked at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin where he advised creditors and companies involved in financial restructuring transactions. Trucano earned a bachelor of arts degree from Emory University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He will serve on the Audit Committee and Compensation Committee of the Dana Board.
