ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Ann Arbor, Mich.-based iConnect today announced its new Automotive EDI Bailout program, a no-charge, 12-month trial of its Value Added Network (VAN) mailbox system for prospective automotive-oriented clients.
Any company that does business in the automotive arena can apply for iConnect's EDI Bailout program through the iConnect Web site at
www.iConnect-corp.com. Companies that are selected will be able to exchange electronic documents such as purchase orders, invoices, shipping schedules and ASN's electronically with its trading partners.
Commenting on the offer, iConnect founder and CEO Kishor Sapre, said, "Many automotive companies and suppliers are in need of a bailout today -- a financial bailout as well as a bailout from inefficient and costly business processes. We hope to provide them with both."
Founded in 2000, iConnect provides an easy, cost-effective way for trading partners to securely exchange electronic documents, irrespective of data format, technology or system language. iConnect also provides integrated VAN services to reduce the cost of ownership, the risk of implementation and the delays in delivery time often experienced through other providers.
"We have been very fortunate in our business success. We grew along with the automotive industry, and today we are in a position to help other companies become more successful," said Sapre. "In the end, we hope we'll both win."
