Uni-Select USA Expands Marketing Tools for Members

AMHERST, N.Y. -- In an ongoing effort to provide value-added marketing tools for its members, Uni-Select USA has launched www.autoserviceplus.biz. The site was created for Uni-Select’s Auto Service Plus professional service dealer members, to complement the group’s “Service you can trust” marketing strategy and to provide customers with car care tips, store locator information, promotions, rebate offers and maintenance schedules.

Earlier this month, Uni-Select USA launched a sister site called Autoplus.biz. Both sites are part of Uni-Select's new strategy to reach out to new service and repair customers.

“The Auto Service Plus service centers are a great resource in the community for scheduled and preventative maintenance for vehicles. In addition, customers can trust these highly qualified, reliable and affordable service centers to fill an important service void due to the recent downsizing of dealerships across the country,” said Brent Windom, Uni-Select vice president, North American marketing and product management.

The site offers Auto Service Plus service center customers a built-in locator for all Auto Service Plus service centers by zip code. Links on the site include vehicle-specific information such as updated compliance testing, factory recalls and technical service bulletins from expert agencies throughout the country, including the Car Care Council.

“There is a common consumer misconception that routine vehicle maintenance must be handled by a dealership and our new website helps customers better understand their rights with respect to warranties and maintenance,” said Windom. “We are confident the service center business will continue to grow as more customers place their trust in the quality service, skilled workforce and fair prices offered at an Auto Service Plus professional service dealer center.”
