INDIANAPOLIS -- Firestone Industrial Products Co. has announced that Robert Allen has joined the company as regional sales manager in the company's Ride-Rite Division.
 
In his new role, Allen will handle sales accounts in the central United States for Firestone's line of light-duty air helper springs. He has more than 15 years of experience in manufacturing sales, previously working as national sales manager at Danaher Corp., where he was involved in marketing and developing national account programs.
     
A Muncie, Ind., native, Allen is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in marketing with a minor in business administration. He also has a private pilot certification from Indianapolis Aviation, Inc.
